 | Research and Planning
 | Story board is very important
|
|
 | Making the Characters
 | Need clay with
Plasticine so that it never hardens ( do not use playdough) |
 | Pipe cleaners, Styrofoam balls, miscellaneous stuff
(have parents clean out closets.) |
 | Put clay on top of a armature (structure made with
pipe cleaners and Styrofoam.)
 | Very thin layer of clay to wrap around structure.
(especially head.) |
 | Bulk character up with tin foil. Clay will also
stick to foil.
 | Look for mini foil sheets |
|
 | Cut Styrofoam balls in half, they make good feet. |
|
|
 | The setting
 | Old calendars make wonderful backgrounds |
 | Use cardboard from boxes, etc for a set that will
stand up.
 | Pizza boxes work great for this too. |
 | Shoe boxes are great for storing kids characters
and stuff while not in class. |
|
|
 | Taking pictures
 | Set camera to a resolution size that is not too
large (640x480)
 | Note on Sony Mavica: Multiple disks write over
previous pictures. Set your camera to SERIES. This will allow picture
names to increase. |
